Alstom, Indra and Constructora San Jose to supply tunnel safety and security systems for Spain’s new Madrid-Asturias high-speed line

Alstom, in consortium with Indra and Constructora San Jose [1] , has signed a €53 million contract [2] with Spanish railway infrastructure authority Adif to supply and install the safety and security systems for twelve tunnels in the Pajares Bypass high speed connection.

 Global mobility solution provider Bombardier Transportation and ČD Cargo, a state-owned Czech railway operator, have taken an important step towards deploying BOMBARDIER TRAXX MS3 locomotives in the Czech Republic: the first two of these locomotives pulling freight trains started commercial trial operation on July 3, 2020.

Michael Peter will be Siemens Mobility’s sole CEO, effective July 10, 2020. Sabrina Soussan, who has been his Co-CEO until now, will leave the company at her own request to take on a new challenge outside Siemens AG. Until her contract ends on December 31, 2020, Ms. Soussan will remain available to Siemens Mobility in an advisory capacity.
