All Interlocking system works in the first 182 km long 5 sections including Telecommunications and Traffic Control Center (CTC) have been completed and commissioned on December the 4th, 2020.The project of 328-km long mainline signaling project work is continuing with the target to open the whole line by end 2021.
Knorr-Bremse, the global market leader for braking and other systems for rail and commercial vehicles, has won its largest ever multi-system order for Chinese metro.
The rail transport company Go-Ahead Bavaria, based in Augsburg (Germany), and the rail solutions company TMH International (TMHI), based in the Swiss city of Zug, have reached an agreement on cooperation. Go-Ahead Bavaria was commissioned by the BEG and the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Transport to operate regional train transport from December 2021 to December 2034 in southern Bavaria and in neighbouring Baden-Württemberg; currently 78 electric railcars have been purchased for this. TMHInternational will take over the maintenance of these trains and will build a train maintenance facility in Langweid bei Augsburg for this purpose. Today, global mobility provider Bombardier Transportation delivered the 200th BOMBARDIER TRAXX locomotive to its customer Railpool, one of Europe’s leading rail vehicle leasing companies. The handover took place at Bombardier’s Kassel site in Germany and highlighted the strong partnership between Bombardier and Railpool that has lasted for more than a decade.
