FLIR ITS-Series Rail thermal cameras help Infrabel prevent accidents and infrastructure damages

Infrabel, a Belgian rail infrastructure management company, installed 30 FLIR ITS-Series Rail thermal cameras to enhance safety. Railway operators at Infrabel can now detect people on tracks with 99% accuracy which consequently prevents accidents and damages to the infrastructure.

Trains go green: focus on battery and hydrogen

In February 2020, we have received an order for eleven battery powered regional trains for the Zweckverband Verkehrsverbund Mittelsachsen(VMS) in Germany. These are the first battery trains to be ordered from Alstom. Offering both hydrogen and battery is an important milestone for the Alstom, as it further proves our central role on the emission-free mobility market. Eiffage and VINCI Energies consortium (50/50) wins the contract to implement electrical infrastructure on the first sections of Grand Paris Express Lines 16 and 17

The Aline consortium, led by Eiffage through the economic interest group Eiffage Énergie Systèmes Ferroviaires in a partnership with VINCI Energies subsidiary SDEL Transport Grands Projets, has won the contract, with a value of over €68 million, to implement the electrical architecture for Lines 16 and 17 of the Grand Paris Express.
