ALSTOM SIGNS A FRAMEWORK CONTRACT TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION OF ERTMS IN FOUR ITALIAN REGIONS
Alstom won the tender together with a temporary grouping of companies. The framework contract involves the design and implementation of the latest ERTMS (European Rail Transport Management System) in Sicily, Lazio, Abruzzo and Umbria. First stage of technological projects, financed by the NRP (Recovery and Resilience Plan), will involve around 700 kilometres of railway lines.
