Schindler announces it has been selected to deliver and install 134 elevators for 16 new stations and 21 ancillary facilities of the Grand Paris Express, the largest transport project in Europe that will double the size of the Paris metro network. Hitachi and Bombardier awarded contract to supply 23 very high-speed Frecciarossa trains to Trenitalia for operation by ILSA on routes in Spain

Hitachi Rail SpA and Bombardier Transportation announced today that they have signed a contract with Italy’s primary train operator Trenitalia to supply 23 Frecciarossa 1000 very high-speed (VHS) trains for the new Intermodalidad de Levante (ILSA) rail operation, a joint venture established by Trenitalia and Operador Ferroviario de Levante SL.

RATP Dev USA, an RATP Group subsidiary, has been awarded three consecutive contracts in the United States: two new contracts, for the operation of “TheBus” transportation service in Prince George’s County, Maryland, and for the operation and maintenance of “The COMET” network in Columbia, South Carolina, as well as a contract renewal for the Camarillo bus network in California.
