HS2 Ltd has today (Wednesday 14 October) announced a partnership with Bath University and the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAE) in a major study of the geology beneath the first phase of Britain’s new high speed railway between the West Midlands and London.
Salcef S.p.A. will carry out renewal works on Egypt’s main freight corridor, the railway line linking the port of Alexandria to the capital, on behalf of Roward Modern Engineering, an Elsewedy Group company. This project is part of a series of works aimed at modernizing the existing rail network, commissioned in 2019 by the Egyptian National Railways.

The fresh produce rail route expands its network to many new destinations in Europe. In this new stage, the service will operate under the name CoolRail powered by Transfesa Logistics.
The tests carried out in March 2019 on the first turnout gantries (PWP) were successful.
