Rail infrastructure managers agree to deploy ERTMS on key routes

A group of European rail infrastructure managers, including Getlink, HS1, SNCF-Réseau and Infrabel, have agreed to collaborate on the deployment of the European Rail Traffic Management System (ERTMS) on their networks.

Rail technology map project launches in Australia

The Rail Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) has partnered with the Australasian Railway Association (ARA) and Deakin University (Victoria) to develop a ‘Smart Rail Route Map’, a project that aims to identify a plan for technology in the rail industry for the next 30 years.
