SNCF Réseau awarded Colas Rail a contract for the renewal of the track between the Septèmes-les-Vallons and the Marseille Saint-Antoine stations in France, for a total of 2.5 million euros. Colas Rail will renew the track to the south of the Septèmes-les-Vallons station to eliminate noise pollution, rework on a switch at the station, as well as perform hydraulic works around the tracks.
Hexagon Purus has received an order to deliver high pressure cylinders to Talgo, S.A., a leading manufacturer of intercity, standard and high speed passenger trains, for its first hydrogen prototype train.

Global mobility leader Bombardier Transportation has announced today the launch of a major investment and hiring plan aimed at increasing the production capacity of its factory in Bruges, Belgium. The modernization of Bombardier’s site in Bruges and its increase in production capacity, will be funded by an investment of more than six million euro. As a result, the company will hire at least 180 more employees to support the site’s increase in production.
Stadler transported the first Citylink tram-train from Valencia to Szentes, Hungary, where it occupied its temporary home in the maintenance depot of Hungarian Railway Company MÁV. The three-car, 70 tons prototypewas carried by special oversized shipment from Valencia to Szentes in 9 days. The first unit will be followed by altogether 7 trains, and the batch of 8 unitsare expected to start commercial service between Szeged and Hódmezővásárhely (south Hungary) in the last quarter of 2021.
