Czech Railways has ordered fifty Vectron MS multisystem locomotives from Siemens Mobility. The contract also includes service for fifteen years. With a maximum operating speed of 230 km/h, the locomotives are suitable for operations on conventional as well as high-speed lines in fast cross-border passenger traffic.
