Alstom at UITP: connecting people and communities for a thriving Hamburg and beyond

Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, will participate in the UITP Global Transport Summit taking place at Messe Hamburg from 15 to 18 June, presenting technologies and solutions that connect communities and allow cities to live up to their full potential, in the present and the future.

In Hamburg, one of the most important rail hubs in Northern Europe, Alstom will showcase its long-term partnership with the city and highlight its latest generation Metropolis DT6 metro train, designed for fully and semi-automated operation by Hamburger Hochbahn on the city’s metro network including the new metro line U5 which will be equipped with Urbalis Fluence, the world’s first train centric CBTC solution.

Visitors to the Alstom booth will also be able to take immersive virtual journeys to discover how Alstom teams work to decarbonise rail solutions throughout their entire life cycle, drive technology forward to extract peak performance out of rail systems, and ensure rail passengers love their travel experience, beginning to end.
