Anding Tunnel, the longest along the China-Laos Railway, designed by China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group Co., Ltd. and constructed by China Railway No.5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd., was cut through on November 28, laying the foundation for the completion of the entire railway on schedule.
China Railway No.5 Engineering Group Co., Ltd. (CR5) completed the tunneling of the 8,822-meter section under its responsibility of the Anding Tunnel, the longest tunnel along the China-Laos Railway that links Kunming and Vientiane.
The Phase Iof the EPC road project in Kalemie, the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), designed and constructed by China-DRC Infrastructure Co., Ltd. under China Railway Resources Group Co., Ltd., passed the acceptance inspection carried out by DRC’s Ministry of Infrastructure, the provincial government of Tanganyika, the municipal government of Kalemie, and relevant construction companies on October 23.
