TRIGO Expands Non-Destructive Testing Capabilities with Controreupe Acquisition
A Strategic Expansion in NDT.
With 30 years of expertise, Controreupe generates annual revenues of €3 million in non-destructive testing. The acquisition marks the first step in TRIGO's strategic plan to expand its component inspection, control, and testing solutions. This initiative comes as TRIGO's Aerospace, Defense, and Rail (ADR) division has just surpassed €100 million in annual revenue, with growth exceeding 20%.
"We are delighted that Controreupe is joining TRIGO. We share the same values of expertise and responsiveness. For our clients, this transaction ensures that our services will continue with the same level of professionalism. For our teams, being part of the TRIGO Group will accelerate the company's development and open new professional opportunities," state Bruno Stiff and Manuel Bicho, founders of Controreupe.
Controreupe specializes in penetrant testing and 3D measurement of complex parts. These non-invasive techniques enable the detection of microscopic defects and precise dimensional measurements without compromising the integrity of tested components. They are essential for ensuring the safety and reliability of aerospace and railway components.
"By integrating Controreupe into TRIGO's global network, we are transforming how specialized control services are delivered in the aerospace and defense sectors," says Emmanuel Marquis, Managing Director of TRIGO's ADR division. "This acquisition perfectly aligns with our mission to provide comprehensive quality solutions to our international clients."
TRIGO aims to triple Controreupe's revenue by 2030. The company plans to create over thirty new positions, primarily metrologists and NDT technicians. This acquisition is part of TRIGO's strategy to develop its 3D testing and measurement services business, with the ambition to reach €100 million by 2030 through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions of specialized players.

"The acquisition of Controreupe will enable us to develop previously unaddressed market segments that require non-invasive technologies," says Lucile Crayssac. "This is a major opportunity to accelerate our growth momentum in the aerospace and defense sectors."
