Nomad Digital Awarded SNCF Voyageurs TGV INOUI Internet On-Board Frame Contract
Nomad Digital, specialist in transport connectivity solutions has signed a 4-year base frame contract (with an option for a 3-year extension) to upgrade the SNCF Voyageurs high-speed trains (TGV INOUI) with its Internet On-Board (IOB) 5G solution.
Credit photo: SNCFThe frame contract includes the upgrading of up to 355 TGV INOUI high-speed trains across France, as well as the operation and maintenance of the Internet On-Board solution to cover monitoring, reporting and train intervention services as part of a service level performance agreement.
The award was the result of a comprehensive Public Tender exercise over 9 months and Nomad Digital is proud of this renewed confidence from SNCF Voyageurs for its technical expertise and leadership in the on-board connectivity market.

The deployment of this solution will help to enhance the passenger experience by enabling a seamless internet connection on board. This will allow the millions of passengers carried by the TGV INOUI high-speed trains each year to utilise their travel time by working or browsing online during their journey.
