The re-routing of Angers tram Line A by Eiffage Energie Systèmes’ teams was inaugurated on 4 January
To enable the connection of these two lines, the teams in charge of power supply works first modified the existing traction facilities on line A and created the power supply for the 3 new passenger stations.
- This work was part of the construction of the extension and creation of tram lines B and C.
- The line will bring two new commercial routes and provide a denser public transport network in Angers city centre.
From 2021 onwards, the teams will be in charge of the electrical power supply (high and low voltage and traction) on new lines B and C, involving the creation of 5 traction substations and 19 passenger stations.
The works will be completed in 2023.
