The MCC (Moscow Central Circle) – is one of the Moscow transport projects. It is integrated in Moscow metro network and in the railway system. In fact, it is considered to be the 14th surface metro line. On 25 August, a two-decker electric train was launched. It will run on a test basis for 15 days until 8 September.
The hub will unite the Moscow Metro station Elektrozavodskaya (Line 3), the station of the Big Circle Line, the same-named station of the future D3 (Moscow Central Diameters – MCD), city e-bus and bus routes and a pedestrian bridge over the Yauza river, which will connect two embankments – Semenovskaya and Rubtsovskaya.
The stations of the capital's MCD project open every month. The pace of development in railway transport in Moscow is higher than in European cities and is considered as one of the highest in the world.
«Historically, railway stations are located in the center of European and Russian cities. Not all of the passengers need to go to the center, so that was the reason for a new long-distance railway station in Moscow.
Kurskaya-Kalanchevskaya is the hardest site of the railway construction in Moscow. It takes place next to the residential buildings and touches the underground communications laid earlier.
