Kontron Transportation will deliver the Railway Radio Communication technology for the Egypt High Speed Rail Project by Siemens Mobility. This project, that will mark the beginning of a new area for the railways system in Egypt, Africa, and the Middle East, which belongs to the biggest projects of Kontron Transportation.

Alstom, global leader in smart and sustainable mobility, has been awarded a £12 million contract to carry out mileage-based modernisation on ScotRail’s Class 334 fleet of 40 trains that serve the Edinburgh to Glasgow line.
Alstom, acting as the Head of a Temporary Association of Enterprises (ATI), consisting of Consorzio Integra, Icop, Euroferroviaria, with engineering assigned to companies including Systra Sotecni, SWS Engineering and Alstom, who will provide a new signalling system to the EAV Vesuvian lines.
Alstom is currently tasked with its research project ARTE (Automatisiert fahrende Regionalzüge in Niedersachsen), which is taking place in Lower Saxony and focuses on automated driving based on optical signal and obstacle detection.
