PIS Plus System
Last year, TrainFX brought the latest version of their complete, turn-key, passenger information solution to market. With the new “PIS Plus” system, a made-to-measure passenger information system, you can now enjoy large, bright, colourful full HD saloon displays, which can deliver a lot more than your standard approach and PRM messaging.
One of the most impressive features is how adaptive the system is. Operating either over Ethernet or existing power lines, the TrainFX system will fit existing space envelopes, making it a great option for retro-fit trains.
From the very beginning we knew that the key to a complete passenger information system is flexibility. We’re proud to offer a truly bespoke design service, working with ROSCOs and operators to meet their specific needs, rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.
Because these new PRM TSi compliant screens are an integrated part of the whole system, they can display information with a huge amount of context. Route information, location, direction of travel and time of day all play a part in a content system which can be managed by the TrainFX in-house design team. Bespoke, branding compliant content, intelligently scheduled and administered via the secure back office system is a significant innovation in our industry, and it’s only the beginning.
