Colas has secured a 380 million Euros contract to operate and maintain the On-Track Machines in Britain
Colas Rail UK, the British subsidiary of Colas Rail, has been selected as one of four suppliers by Network Rail to operate and maintain the On-Track Machines used for track maintenance across Britain.

The contract, worth around 380 million Euros , covers several regions of the rail network: Wales & Western, Southern, Eastern, NorthWest and Central.
As part of this contract, Colas Rail UK will operate and maintain 28 machines, including Tampers and Ballast Regulators, for a period of eight years.

This latest success further strengthens the relationship of trust between Network Rail and Colas Rail. This follows the recent signing of a contract worth around 170 million Euros over five years, for the operation and maintenance of Network Rail's fleet of grinding and milling trains.
