SYSTRA’s expertise in digital engineering rewarded by Etihad Rail
Etihad Rail has presented SYSTRA with an Innovation Award at the Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition and Conference, in recognition of the Group's excellence in digital engineering.

An Innovation Award was presented at the first Global Rail event organised by Etihad Rail, the manager and operator of the rail network in the United Arab Emirates. Of the 75 entries received, the jury selected three innovations, including the one proposed by SYSTRA, which presented the Digital Twin for rail infrastructure.

The Innovation Award is accompanied by a grant of 500,000 Emirati Dirhams (AED) (€125,000), which will fund the development of the Digital Twin at Etihad Rail’s facilities. This is a pilot project to test our innovation on part of their rail infrastructure. The Emirati network will be one of the first clients for this solution.
