Thre variants for maximum flexibility
- MRU400 – The compact all-rounder with an integrated circularly polarized antenna, which enables a reading range of approximately 4-5 meters. If two reading points are required, a connection for an additional external antenna is available.
- MRU400X – The industrial version with M12 circular connectors for use in extreme environmental conditions, e.g. on machines, conveyor systems or in vehicles.
- MRMU400 – The powerful solution for integration into machines and control cabinets.
Efficient RFID detection for demanding applications
Thanks to their high reception sensitivity and interference immunity, the MRU400 readers reliably identify UHF transponders, even during rapid movements or when multiple objects are detected simultaneously. This reduces measurement errors, optimizes logistics processes, and ensures efficient data capture in real time.
Robust construction for extreme conditions
The housing variants are IP65/IP67 certified and designed for use in harsh environments. They resist dust, water, vibration, and temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
Easy integration and intelligent functions
With interfaces such as Ethernet (IPv4/IPv6), USB, and RS485, the readers can be easily integrated into existing systems. The intuitive web interface simplifies configuration, while features such as “Config Cloning” optimize the setup of multiple devices.
Edge computing for individual applications
The MRU400 series is based on a Linux edge computing platform, allowing for the installation of custom applications and interface protocols directly on the device. This reduces network load, increases data processing speed, and allows for secure storage of application keys.
Conclusion: Compact, powerful, versatile and cost-effective
The new MRU400 series offers companies an efficient, secure, and future-proof solution for mid-range RFID applications and provides a cost-effective alternative to the LRU4000 long-range readers. Whether in production, logistics, or rail technology – FEIG mid-range readers optimize processes, increase productivity, and reduce operating costs.
