Petrosoft.pl proudly announces the signing of a contract to implement our advanced Terminal Operating System (TOS) at an intermodal rail terminal in Vinnytsia, Ukraine.

The Container Terminal Industry in Ukraine
In recent years, Ukraine’s intermodal transport sector has experienced dynamic growth. In 2020, Ukrainian Railways recorded a significant increase in the number of China–Western Europe container trains passing through Ukraine. By the end of 2020, the total number of container trains from China reached 22.
However, due to the ongoing conflict, maritime transport in Ukraine has faced severe disruptions. For instance, the Port of Odesa saw a drastic decline in freight traffic, handling only two cargo ships in January 2023 compared to 41 per month before the war.
In response to these challenges, Ukraine is intensifying the development of rail infrastructure and intermodal terminals to ensure the continuity of supply chains and enhance freight transport efficiency.
