Colas secures a major catenary systems contract for UK's HS2 network
Colas Rail UK, the British subsidiary of Colas Rail, has been selected by High Speed 2 (HS2) to design and implement the catenary systems that will supply power to high-speed trains throughout the HS2 network.
Colas Rail UK will be responsible for the design, manufacture, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the catenary systems, using state-of-the-art OCS V360 technology licensed from SNCF of France. This system is the first in Europe to have been certified for speeds of up to 360 km/h.
