An eight-year contract
Transport for London (TfL), transport authority for the city of London, has selected KeolisAmey to operate the Docklands Light Railway. As the longstanding operator of the network since December 2014, the joint venture will continue to manage this critical part of London public transport for eight more years, starting on 1 April 2025.
The busiest network in the UK
This fully automated underground network serves the Docklands, a former port area in East London, and now links up fast-developing districts such as Canary Wharf, Greenwich and Lewisham. The railway has 40 km of lines and 45 stations, and it is the busiest underground network in the UK, carrying 100 million passengers every year.
"We are delighted to have had our contract renewed for the DLR franchise and we are grateful for Transport for London’s continued trust in us to deliver service excellence on this key London metro network."

KeolisAmey also plans to invest in remote monitoring of the train fleet, infrastructure, buildings and tunnels. Finally programmes promoting local employment and raising awareness among schoolchildren and people in professional reintegration schemes will also be set up.
