PJ Motion closes its first successful year with a larger team and successful projects
Focus on authorization with functional safety and retrofitting of rail vehicles.
The fourth and youngest company in the PJM Group looks back very positively on its first year of existence. After just 12 months, PJ Motion has established itself as a well-known partner for authorization issues in accordance with the 4th railway package.
One concrete example is refurbishments, which go far beyond the renewal of equipment and deal with tasks such as WLAN retrofitting, LED lighting, adaptations in terms of accessibility or facilitation for people with restricted mobility. What is subject to authorization and what is not? Are the adaptations economically viable or not? We are the right partner for all these questions.’ Other topics in the retrofitting of rail vehicles include ECTS, train protection and train radio. To put it short: ‘We provide certainty and are problem solvers’.
The expertise in the areas of measurement technology, vehicle testing, engineering, approval management, inspection center and intelligent goods train make PJM a comprehensive system specialist in rail transport. ‘PJ Motion perfectly complements PJM. Our concept of offering all specialist areas for the approval of track-bound vehicles was confirmed by the market and customers last year. Another area in which PJ Motion can contribute a great deal of experience is the integration of automated processes at railway companies as the brake testing system.
