SGS Recognised as Independent Safety Assessment Body for Metro de Madrid
We are pleased to announce that SGS has been awarded the Metro de Madrid S.A. framework agreement: Technical Attendance for Operational Railway Safety of Technical, Operational or Organizational Modifications of Madrid Railway System.
For the next four years, we will play the role of Safety Assessment Body (ISA/AsBo) for Metro de Madrid, making us a key player in the metropolitan rail services of the Spanish capital.
With a centre of excellence based in Madrid, SGS is accredited by ENAC, the Spanish accreditation entity, as a Notified Body (NoBo), Designated Body (DeBo) and Safety Assessment Body (ISA/AsBo) for all railway subsystems.
