Double-deck coaches contract with Israel Railways

On October 23, 2023 Alstom has been awarded a contract worth €260 million by Israel Railways (ISR) for the production of 96 double-deck coaches.

With this development, ISR will be able to operate eight-car trains with a total capacity of over 1200 seats.

The contract was signed on January 23, 2024 and Alstom's share is estimated at €260 million. The contract includes an option to order additional double-deck coaches and product evolution to allow 10 coaches train set operation.

This contract represents a significant milestone for Alstom in Israel, as it further solidifies our position as a trusted partner and leading provider of reliable and innovative railway solutions.
