SYSTRA CANADA SUPPORTS MODERNIZATION OF ROLLING STOCK FOR EXO
The Canadian rail operator, exo, responsible for commuter trains in the Montréal metropolitan area, has just awarded SYSTRA Canada a new contract for technical support to modernise its locomotives.
A year after winning an initial contract to support the acquisition of new locomotives, exo has called on the expertise of SYSTRA Canada’s Rolling Stock Business Unit for a major new project. Under this new mandate, we will be exo’s technical engineering representative for locomotive refurbishment.
To this end, SYSTRA Canada will mobilize a team of multidisciplinary experts, including an on-site expert to ensure that the work is carried out according to the technical specifications, that quality processes are respected, and to attend all qualification tests.
"We are delighted to have been awarded this engineering technical representative contract, which demonstrates SYSTRA Canada’s expertise in rolling stock and the strength of our relationship with exo. We are also very pleased to continue improving the passenger experience and expanding mobility in Montreal.” – David Anglin, Vice President, Rolling Stock, SYSTRA Canada.
