ADLINK Technology at InnoTrans 2022: Accelerating Smart Rail Digitalization with Edge AI
Bringing digital transformation and AI to transport technology. ADLINK Technology Inc., a global leader in edge computing, will be at InnoTrans 2022 to showcase its AVA-RAGX (Jetson Xavier AGX) and cPCI-A3535 (formerly Tiger Lake) additions to its expanding EN 50155 compliant portfolio.
Summary:
- ADLINK will showcase its cutting-edge EN 50155 compliant AI-enabled platforms at InnoTrans 2022 Hall 7.1b Stand 310
- The ADLINK AVA series systems and CompactPCI Serial processing platforms are designed to accelerate and ease the Smart Rail digitalization adoption
- ADLINK continues to deepen its partnership with Intel and NVIDIA to build advanced rail solutions, harnessing the power of AI technologies to help the industry address increasing challenges in railway operations throughout their infrastructure’s edge
The artificial intelligence (AI) enabled AVA series systems combined with ADLINK’s CompactPCI Serial processing platforms deliver a high level of flexibility to rail solution providers to select the configuration best suited to their use cases, helping them to accelerate railway digital transformation.
With field-proven, reliable solutions in both onboard and wayside, ADLINK excels at delivering to the rail industry with cutting-edge EN 50155 compliant solutions for train control, rail signaling, automation, and digitalization for both onboard and wayside railway applications. During InnoTrans, ADLINK will exhibit multiple applications, including AI-enabled video analytics for passenger information systems, railroad intrusion detection, train station surveillance, AI onboard video security, railroad hazard detection, and passenger flow management.
At InnoTrans ADLINK will also introduce:
- AVA-RAGX: Adding to ADLINK’s AI-enabled Video Analytics (AVA) platform portfolio, the AVA-RAGX platform is built on the latest industrial version of NVIDIA®'s Jetson AGX Xavier module with 32 TOPs AI performance. The platform provides a compact, rugged AI-enabled solution for both onboard and wayside railway real-time video and graphics analysis applications.
- CompactPCI® Serial server: As digitalization generates a huge amount of data, railway real-time video and graphics analysis applications require increasing compute power as well as network bandwidth for interconnected systems. ADLINK’s new set of CompactPCI® Serial server class CPUs, which are based on Intel®’s Tiger Lake processors, integrate up to 6 cores. They come with new extension boards to allow railway solution providers to build a complete and scalable system on time.
“AI is accelerating the digital transformation of the railway industry to drive efficiency, improve productivity and reduce costs,” said Eric Kao, General Manager of ADLINK’s Networking, Communication & Public Sector business unit. “ADLINK is at the cutting-edge of AI computing solutions that help railway companies focus on differentiating and transforming their end applications. During InnoTrans 2022, we look forward to offering visitors to our stand a hands-on experience of our solutions for both onboard and wayside applications that improve operational efficiency, deliver smarter and safer customer services, and create new business opportunities.”
The largest international trade exhibition for rail transport technology, InnoTrans is held every two years in Messe Berlin. It is organized into five trade segments: Railway Technology, Railway Infrastructure, Public Transport, Interiors, and Tunnel Construction. InnoTrans occupies all 41 halls and has a 3,500-meter outdoor track show that includes everything from high-speed trains to tank wagons to urban trams. InnoTrans 2022 is anticipated to draw 140,000 trade visitors from all over the world and more than 3,000 exhibitors.
