It’s all about the rail industry

Railtex / Infrarail opens its doors next week.

It’s all about the rail industry

Railtex / Infrarail, the UK’s number one event for the rail industry, takes place from 10-12 May 2022 at Olympia London. The show will bring together the entire railway supply sector to discuss, promote and support the rail industry’s progress in the modern, post-pandemic world. Event highlights include technological advances, live displays, and inspiring talks by industry experts. The upcoming edition offers a unique opportunity to meet with national and international players and thought leaders, all looking to enhance passenger experience, freight logistics and the overall efficiency of railway operations.

The exhibition features some 140 exhibiting companies in 180+ exhibit categories, covering the latest technical innovations, products and services for rail and public transport systems. A total of 14 countries will be represented on the show floor, with strong involvement from the UK and from countries including Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Turkey and China. Railtex / Infrarail 2022 welcomes innovative exhibitors, from around the world, such as CRRC, voestalpine Railway Systems Group, Anixter, Wales, Hitachi Infocom, Omnicom Balfour Beatty and many more.

Attendees can expect an excellent cross-section of technologies and solutions to facilitate the safe, efficient, and sustainable operation of rail transport. Exhibits cover rolling stock technology, track, and infrastructure, signalling and communications, vehicle maintenance, fare collection systems, cable technology and many other rail-related sectors. A spectacular On-Track Display Area, sponsored by long-standing partner British Steel, demonstrates tools and equipment, in an authentic rail setting.

Exciting Supporting Programme

“Railtex / Infrarail 2022 comes with a strong line-up of top exhibitors and engaging speakers”, says Olaf Freier, Railtex / Infrarail Portfolio Director, on behalf of event organiser Mack-Brooks Exhibitions. “The exhibition and conference together form a powerful business and networking platform for rail technology buyers meeting their suppliers, as well as for officials, local government and other specialists involved in the rail market. Bringing everyone together under one roof creates new knowledge and thinking from across the industry as we face new challenges – whether economic, environmental or technological.”

The supporting Seminar and Conference Programme, organised by the main show partner RIA, the Railway Industry Association, features a broad range of topics and sessions on the latest rail technology developments, market trends and growth opportunities.
