One-stop Shop Track Maintenance - the ROBEL Group at iaf
On more than 1000 square meters of iaf exhibition space, ROBEL is going to demonstrate for the first time the power of the growing ROBEL group of companies
Trade fair visitors will experience the entire process of rail maintenance from transport and measuring via track construction and rail treatment to full service and automation. Live on track and in discussions with the respective specialists of the Group: ROBEL Bahnbaumaschinen, Plasser Robel Services, Vogel & Plötscher and ROBEL Rail Automation.
ROBEL CEO Wolfgang R. Fally is looking forward tot he long-awaited chance for personal exchange: „A lot has happened at ROBEL in the last two years. The iaf finally offers us the opportunity to show our international customers the overall performance of the Group and to talk with them about the benefits and the value that so many technologies and services from a single source can bring to them.“
Traditionally, ROBEL uses the iaf for the global launch of new products. This year the focus is on solutions to the "three Ds", the major challenges for the rail system: Decarbonization - Digitization - Demographic development:
• ROBEL Bahnbaumaschinen show hand operated machines with electric and hybrid drives for wrenching, grinding and drilling machines, demonstrated live on the iaf outdoor space.
• The focus of the rail-bound vehicles is on projects in urban environments, tunnels and Metro: Milling train ROMILL Urban E³ is the first product for rail treatment grown out of a cooperation within the Group - optimised for use in the Underground with hybrid drive, milling technology from Schweerbau International and comprehensive measuring equipment from Vogel & Plötscher.
• The new company Plasser Robel Services will be presenting their multibrand service program for rail-bound vehicles
• With the premiere of their RSCM (Rail Surface Crack Measurement) device, Vogel & Plötscher show an additional technology for measuring crack depths and irregularities in the rail surface
• The latest addition to the ROBEL Group, ROBEL Rail Automation, celebrates its premiere with studies on the automation of manual labor-intensive maintenance tasks: In a specially assembled container, robot-guided tools measure and process rail defects.
