In search of performance and innovative technologies to support the expansion of its model in Europe, OUIGO Spain has chosen Moment as a partner to enrich the passenger experience on board its trains.

Moment, digital leader in infotainment solutions for the travel industry, announces its partnership with OUIGO Spain, the French National Railways’ (SNCF) low cost subsidiary for Spain. The two companies will work together to provide a connected platform, including Wi-Fi, information, entertainment content and services to enhance the passenger experience during journeys.

Once connected to the OUIFUN portal, via their favorite electronic devices - smartphones, tablets or PCs - with their reservation number, travelers can access internet on board to check their emails or browse the web, but also enjoy a wide choice of international and Spanish entertainment content, including recent movies, animated films, series, podcasts, games, magazines and news programs. Finally, passengers will be able to get information throughout their journey in real time via an interactive map, access tourist guides or consult the bar menu for on-board catering.

The extension of its network to Spain in 2021 is an important step, while this country does not know of a similar offer, and at such prices " explains Hélène Valenzuela, General Manager of OUIGO Spain. “We want to establish ourselves on the Spanish rail market by offering a differentiating and attractive passenger experience on board. Moment’s connected portal is a real opportunity to increase satisfaction and loyalty because it makes it possible to enhance the on-board offer with digital services”.

Connectivity and entertainment services will be offered as paid options, from 3 euros. Travel information and audio programs will be available free of charge to all travelers.

The service was launched on May 10, 2021, on OUIGO’s first high-speed line in Spain connecting Madrid to Barcelona, and will gradually be extended to the whole OUIGO network, comprising Madrid to Valencia and Alicante, and later from Madrid to Seville and Malaga.
