NEW TRANSFER CONNECTION BETWEEN VILLACH AND TRIESTE

Starting September 10, our TransFER Villach–Italy gets extended by the new Villach–Trieste connection. For the first time, we can now offer direct wagonload transports via the new railway siding to and from the multifunctional terminal at the Port of Trieste as needed.

In addition to tailor-made logistics solutions for goods of all kinds, the warehouse location of the ÖBB Rail Cargo Group in Prague-Malešice stands out as one of the few warehouses in the area with a siding.

OUR HIGH-SPEED TRANSFER LINZ–ANTWERP

Between January and May 2021, around 142,000 net tonnes conventional wagonload and container traffic were transported between Austria and Belgium with the TransFER Linz–Antwerp in a sustainable manner on rail.

BOOSTING THE NETWORK WITH KOMBIVERKEHR

ÖBB Rail Cargo Group and Kombiverkehr have now established a service between Budapest and Neuss that runs six times a week and another that stops off at Wels and Wien Süd that runs three times a week, which between them save the CO2 emissions of 17,000 truck journeys.

NEW TRANSFER VERONA–REGENSBURG

We are expanding our network and, from 6 June 2021, we are launching an intermodal non-stop connection between Verona and Regensburg with three round trips per week with a new TransFER connection.
