Tackling climate change and building a more weather-resilient rail system with CableGuardian

Extreme weather events, including those caused by climate change, are among the most serious threats to the smooth running of the railway, costing Network Rail between £50-£100 million a year due to delays and cancellations, or £200-£300 million if wider impacts such as socio-economic factors are considered.
