300 NEW CURTAINSIDER SWAP BODIES FOR ÖBB RAIL CARGO GROUP
RCG is expanding its equipment portfolio in order to further close the gap between road and rail and thus offer efficient end-to-end logistics solutions.
ÖBB Rail Cargo Group (RCG) is investing in 300 multimodal curtainsider swap bodies in 2023.
Full flexibility
With an external length of more than 13 metres (45 ft) and an internal height of more than 2.5 metres, the new swaps will soon be on the road throughout Europe. The swap bodies are universally loadable - that means they can be loaded and unloaded from all sides as well as from above. This sets them apart from a conventional container. Another advantage is that they can be used for all kinds of goods across all sectors (e.g. in beverage logistics, chemicals, and automotive).
No siding track of your own? No problem!
With the help of innovative equipment, RCG enables an efficient and seamless end-to-end logistics solution across all sectors. This makes it even easier to use RCG's TransFER products including pre- and on-carriage - even without your own siding track.
The equipment addition to the RCG portfolio is interesting for all customers who are looking for universal and crane-compatible loading units. This applies to many different industries and products - from food and beverage to steel to wood and paper. The focus is on pallet goods, which in the past were classically transported by truck.
Unmissable: New branding in bright red tones
A good design determines the face of any company. Especially as an international rail logistics company, it is important to make a clear visual statement. The advertising spaces of the ÖBB Rail Cargo Group are the trains. The new curtainsider swap bodies are branded in bright ÖBB traffic red.
