Alstom, world leader in smart and sustainable mobility, signed a new contract with EMOVA, concessionaire of the Buenos Aires Metro Network, to overhaul its fleet of 60 Alstom Metropolis 300 model cars (10 trains).

Contract includes 90 Adessia Stream trains and maintenance over a period of 34 years.

Alstom’s Brazil facilities have produced train car bodyshells for mobility projects in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, as well as the United States, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, India, Romania and Taiwan.

Project will enable 40% increase in network capacity, energy saving benefits, leading cybersecurity and future proofing of network for growth with minimum disruption to commuters.
