Designed for transportation, mobile surveillance, and edge AI applications, the ARTS-1550 Series delivers high-performance computing with enhanced I/O connectivity and real-time data transmission, ideal for smart transportation, fleet management, intelligent video analytics, and public safety systems.
Engineered for mission-critical operations on the move, the ARTS-1550 Series boasts a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and a robust fanless aluminum enclosure, ensuring reliable performance under harsh conditions, including shock, vibration, dust, and fluctuating power scenarios. Fully compliant with E-Mark regulations and MIL-STD-810H, this compact box PC is purpose-built for public transit, fleet management, law enforcement, and railway applications.
Built for High-Speed Connectivity & Edge Intelligence
At the heart of the ARTS-1550 is the Intel® Atom® x7433RE processor, part of the Amston Lake family, optimized for edge computing with low power consumption and integrated Intel® Time Coordinated Computing (TCC) support. The platform supports DDR5 memory up to 16GB, enabling improved bandwidth for data-intensive operations such as real-time video analytics or AI inference at the edge.
One of the most compelling features of the ARTS-1550 is its 4 x 2.5GbE PoE+ ports, delivered via RJ45 or M12 x-coded connectors, with a total 60W power budget. These ports provide both high-speed data transfer and power delivery for connected IP cameras or sensors, simplifying installation and reducing cabling complexity in vehicles and mobile systems.
Versatile I/O and Wireless Expansion
To meet diverse communication and control requirements, the ARTS-1550 includes:
- 2 x isolated CAN 2.0 (A/B) for vehicle communication networks
- Isolated 4 x Digital Input / 4 x Digital Output (2KV protection) for external device integration
- 2 x serial COM ports, supporting legacy connectivity in industrial and transportation environments
For wireless and storage flexibility, the system offers a rich expansion interface:
- 1 x M.2 B-Key (USB3.0 + USB2.0) with SIM slot for 4G/5G/LTE Modules. Optional dual SIM support in single 5G module, offering redundancy to ensure reliable, always-on connectivity for mission-critical applications such as fleet tracking and remote monitoring
- 1 x M.2 B-Key (SATA + USB2.0) for storage or GNSS positioning module
- 1 x full-size mini-PCIe (PCIe x1 + USB2.0) with SIM slot for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth/LTE connectivity
Additionally, the ARTS-1550 provides an externally accessible 2.5" HDD tray and SD card slot, making data handling and system updates more efficient without opening the chassis.
