intreXis presents new 19″ Rack-Mount DC/DC Converter

intreXis is launching two new 19″ rack-mount DC/DC Converter series in the power range of 150 watts. Available with single or dual output, these DC-DC Converters are specifically designed for railway applications, providing even greater flexibility and efficiency.

The converters feature an ultra-wide input voltage range from 14.4 to 154 VDC and meet the demanding requirements for reliability and robustness for train systems worldwide, regardless of the battery voltage. Furthermore, these power supplies fully comply with the railway standards, including Rolling Stock – Electronic Equipment (EN50155), EMC (EN50121-3-2), Shock and Vibration (EN 61373) and Fire Safety (EN45545-2) with a reserve to the respective limit values.

With a particularly high efficiency of up to 94.3%, these converters maximise energy efficiency and minimise heat loss. They use state-of-the-art converter technologies, delivering clear advantages. Their high-power density of 150 watts on a Eurocard (3U x 10HP × 160 mm) enables direct integration into 19″ racks, providing maximum power in minimal space – a crucial benefit for constrained installation areas in railway vehicles and densely packed racks.

Another significant advantage are the options for customisations: the DC/DC-Converters can be tailored to specific requirements, such as various output voltages, H15 back connector configurations, additional signals, N+1 redundancy, status LED, front-connectors or panel adjustment. This allows for bespoke solutions that meet the unique demands of various railway projects.
