Railway environments are notorious for "fretting corrosion"—tiny contact failures caused by constant micro-vibrations. LÜTZE solves this by permanently soldering the relay to the PCB rather than using a plug-in socket. This design choice eliminates high contact resistance and the risk of overheating, ensuring the module remains maintenance-free throughout its service life.
The module’s intelligence lies in its dual-input coil design. Rather than a single "one-size-fits-all" voltage range that can be prone to false triggering from residual voltage, LÜTZE utilizes two separate inputs:
- Input A1.2: Optimized for 24 V and 36 V systems (activates at 13 V).
- Input A1.1: Designed for 72 V and 110 V systems (activates at 33 V).
Equipped with hard gold-plated contacts, the relay handles low-load switching with extreme precision. Because it is delivered fully assembled under a single part number, it simplifies logistics and installation for rail operators. Naturally, the module meets all critical standards, including EN 50155 for electronic equipment on rolling stock and EN 45545-2 for fire protection, making it a "plug-and-play" solution for global rail projects.
