Alstom will participate in different panels and presentations on sustainability, digitalisation, passenger experience and inclusive mobility.

Alstom, has signed a new maintenance contract with the Panama Metro (MPSA) which includes preventive and corrective maintenance of the rolling stock, signalling and power supply system of Line 2 of the Panama Metro. The 21 km viaduct line can transport 16,000 passengers per hour in each direction and designed for a horizon-year capacity of more than 40,000 passengers per hour in one direction, since April 2019 with maintenance services.

The purpose is to operate the first hydrogen-powered freight train from the Vosges plant, thanks to a hydrogen generator wagon system developed by Alstom and supplied with renewable hydrogen by ENGIE, from 2025.

The initiative, called "Inclusive Trains" will develop a training course in the railway sector, to offer new job opportunities for people with learning disabilities.

This programme offers scholarships for postgraduate studies and professional work placements at Alstom sites in Madrid, Barcelona and Basque Country.

Alstom, a global leader in smart and green mobility, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Transportation (MOT) during the 27th Conference of the Parties (COP27), to launch the first railway academy in Egypt. The MoU was signed by H.E. Kamel El Wazir, Egyptian Minister of Transportation and Andrew DeLeone, President of Alstom in Africa, Middle East, and Central Asia.

Alstom, a global leader in smart and sustainable mobility has been awarded the contract to design, manufacture, supply, test, commission 312 standard gauge metro cars for Delhi Metro Phase IV expansion, by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).

Systems engineering and technological development will be managed at Alstom's recently opened site in Maia, Porto district.
