Alstom to modernise 93.45 km Bucharest-Giurgiu railway with ERTMS Level 2, electrification, boosting speeds to 160 km/h, worth €450 million.

Alstom publicly reveals the design of the new electric locomotive, with a speed up to 200 km/h, marking a major milestone.

The signalling centre will support rail digitalisation, engineer training, legacy system upgrades, Onvia Lock deployment at 85 stations, and TR TS 003/2011 certification.
