On Friday 24 February, the newest additions to VolkerRail’s on-track machine (OTM) fleet - DR 75005 and DR 75506 - arrived in the UK.

VolkerRail has been named by Network Rail as one of the successful alliance partners for its ten-year Southern Integrated Delivery portfolio for 2024-2034.

VolkerRail has been awarded a new Embedded Framework contract, by Transport for London (TfL), to undertake track renewals on London Trams.

The East West Rail (EWR) Alliance, consisting of Atkins, Laing O’Rourke, VolkerRail and Network Rail, has brought Network Rail’s long welded rail train (LWRT) out of retirement, to help deliver one of the largest rail infrastructure projects in the UK.

Ground-breaking work on the Hope Valley Railway Upgrade a rail reliability upgrade between Manchester and Sheffield will start later this month.
